Today we thought about each individual screen in our game. This includes the opening screen and the other screens involved in the gameplay. We did not draw out our paper protype, but we mapped what each page was going to be. We still have a long way to go as far as the actual gameplay goes but we have alot of good ideas floating around. Hopefully our paper protype will be completed soon.
Taking those good ideas and narrowing them down is going to be the biggest challenge I see for your team. You have a great game topic! You have started to find some great resources! Now what? I had a dear friend who always said,"Simple is best." I think she's right - complications can be added in later. Each of you - individually - needs to carefully consider where you think the game is headed, then put this into words, share your ideas and then jointly decide on the ideas that are most doable. There is not enough time during class to start to do the thinking and then hash it out. Time is ticking away....
