ooooohhhhh yeeeaaaahhhh

Finally finished the Paper Prototype. We just completed our film and we are in the process of uploading it to our page. Hopefully it will be uploaded by the end of class so it will be available for your veiwing pleasure.

Almost Done......still

We are almost there. We are dangerously close to completing our protype and should be filming it on friday. Its been quite a chalenge coming up with ideas for the actual gameplay in our game becuase our concept is kind of drab. Regardless, I think we have done a good job working the hand we've been delt and I'm looking forward to filming it and uploading it to our page.

No team mate

So thanksgiving break is over and school has started again. Only problem is my Globaloria team mate, Halden, is on an extended break in Disney World. This leaves me to do all the work. This means i will have to make our entire paper protype by myself and most likely present it as well. Needless to say I am not a happy camper!

Actual Paper Prototype

Finally getting started in on my paper prototype. I've completed a large portion of the prototype and will hopefully be able to film my presentation withtin the next two classes. I'm not sure how acurate the protype is going to be to our actual game. I have a feeling alot of stuff is going to change when we actually start making the game. But nonetheless the protype is a good basis for when we do.

HELP!!!! I need somebody!

Today I finally completed my flash game. I had made one previously but it got deleted by mistake. I received help in my quest from my good friend Matticus. He showed me the ins and outs of flash coding which helped me tremendously. I hadnt had much experience with coding before today so I have great sense of accomplishment.

Paper Prototype of a Paper Prototype

Today we thought about each individual screen in our game. This includes the opening screen and the other screens involved in the gameplay. We did not draw out our paper protype, but we mapped what each page was going to be. We still have a long way to go as far as the actual gameplay goes but we have alot of good ideas floating around. Hopefully our paper protype will be completed soon.

We haven't gotten very far on our paper prototype so far. the only things we've decided on are tyhe loading screen and the opening screen. Obviously ther are alot of things we still have to figure out , but I'm pleased with the progress we've made so far. Further advancments will be posted.

This applies to our game because we are not preparing for a natural disaster, we are recovering from one. Recovering is what really matters in a natural disaster. Yes, preparing helps, but you can never fully prepare for nature's fury. That is why recovery is essential!....key!.......PROFOUND!!! Without an efficient recovery, a region will perish in the pits of poverty. Our game shall involve federal and state government cooperating with each other financially as well as rationally. we will also involve many other orginizations and politocal systems in our game. Our game is called WE SHALL REBUILD!
AND YES, WE SHALL REBUILD!!!

Filler Blog

The main purpose of this blog is to fill space and make my page look fuller. Enjoy. In order to secure a good grade in this class I am required to have a certain amount of blogs. I have not met quota so therfore I have made a meaningless blog in order to meet said quota. Hopefully this will be a valid post and help me recieve more credit. RACKBALL!!!!!

SHAUNDYE! game ideas

We are brainstorming ideas for our game today and came up with a general outline for what we want to do. We've decided that we want to do a game pertaining to budgeting for the cleanup of a natural disaster. this would consist cleaning up the disaster area and getting the area back to its original state. We have yet to work out the logistics of the game, but this is just our first brainstorming session. I'm excited to see wher the idea goes. F.Y.C.!!!

Make-Up Work Is Ridiculous!

Today is Monday and also my first time being back in the class after a week of being sick. I am now in the stone ages. My classmates have started learning Flash and have already starting making simple animated games. I am clueless. So as of now I am playing a brutal game of catchup.

After much affliction I finally found a name for my blog. With the assistance of The Hansen I finally completed my quest to open a peice of the most talented, and sexy globaloria blog possible. So now that we established this Fact I present to you my blog. I am very much a newcomer to newcomer to this type of technology. this being the case I have had much to learn about over the last few days. After applying my newly epuipped knowlege I the succeeded in creating a Gmail account as well as a globaloria account. Score!
